Random girl: "I came here to kill you!"
Naofumi's Party: "LOL no."
Random girl: "WHY ARE YOU ATTACKING ME?!" D:

Sounds like something a Karen would say 😂

While hilarious, I do think it was a cleaver way to show how brainwashed she was with but a sentence. No episode-long backstory of how he manipulated her, just 5 words and an origin blurb later, allowing the pacing to pick up.

dude really? this is their form of redemption?

ah yes, kill others in a separate world to avoid our separate world from dying....

bruh, it makes sense but I feel a bigger apology should be made.

It makes me wonder if Kyo manipulated the other Vassal Wielders into believing that it was kill or be killed just to try and get rid of the Cardinal Heros, making it easier to use the spirit tortoise.

My guess is that later on, they will discover how they were all played like fools and redeem themselves by teaching Naofumi methods to become even stronger.

Did anyone else nearly die of laugher after seeing Keyos bitch boi split in half xD

I was of mixed feelings. While it was funny, I was thinking the morality Raphtalia must face telling Naofumi "Master, I just killed a man. Put my blade upon his chest, cleft him twain and how he's dead. Master, my vassal life has just begun, and now I've went and thrown it all away"

Underrated comment

I was so worried they were trying to redeem the bookworm hero Kyou. The guy just dug himself deeper into his character, sweet, I'm not going to have a conflict when it's time for him to pay up.

Mæx Wellington • 9 months ago

Agreed. I love how they are piling more and more onto him... Like "Oh, you think he was a jerk for what he did to the spirit tortoise? Well guess what he did to his friend... oh you think that's bad, guess what's next"...

Also, there's an interesting dynamic given how, if you look at it from Kyo's perspective, this isekai is one of those manipulation ones.

After a gorgeously done and emotionally heartworm etching episode last week's. This episode pacing is slower and a little boring.

Emm 09:08 how to hell is she holding that katana? Isn't it supposed to be stuck to raphtalia???

Just remembered that those weapons are sentient so maybe it's ok with being hold by a blacksmith.

Fk me.... talk no jutsu?!

She is definitely the heart of their party, and it is possible that Naofumi might have obtained that gift if his stupid compatriots could actually work together. However, his world had to drag him into the mud preventing him from having outward charisma.

That said, just look at all he accomplished and how quickly he united a plethora of nations under his command... so in a sense, he still has a form of that charisma.

Fk.... it worked?!

Yare yare daze 😈

Finally she sees him for who he truly is a monster trying to destroy the worlds. She should of realised sooner after Naofumi told her the story instead of being sceptical.

Raph-chan isn't an honorific, Dub, it's her name. If you put an honorific on it it'd be Raph-chan-chan.
